Black Velvet Seductions seeks romantic domestic discipline stories for several upcoming projects.

"Spanked Wives Anthology"

We are currently working on a domestic discipline anthology featuring stories of wives who are spanked by their husbands.

For the anthology we are looking for stories between 5,000 and 15,000 words to be published in anthology format in both paperback and ebook.

Though Black Velvet Seductions typically features romance novels in which the hero and heroine meet within the scope of the story, for this anthology we are welcoming stories which feature a hero and heroine (husband and wife) who already have a committed relationship, or who have at some point had a committed relationship.

We are looking for stories which are very relationship focused and which by the end of the story show the domestic element of the relationship between husband and wife as a positive one which pleases both parties.

We would like to see stories which show the emotional aspects of spanking from the viewpoints of both spanker and spankee.

Though spanking should play a strong role in the couple's relationship it should not overshadow the relationship. We do not want to see stories in which the entire story is the description of a spanking. Instead we want to see stories with fully developed characters and conflicts. There must be a plot.

Stand Alone Domestic Discipline Romance Novels

Black Velvet Seductions is also seeking romance novels which include domestic discipline.

These books would most likely follow a traditional path where hero and heroine meet or reunite within the scope of the book. They would likely face the same sorts of conflicts heroes and heroines of other romance novels face, and would need to work out those issues.

However, at least one of the characters in these books will have an interest in spanking, either as discipline or as sexual foreplay. Their interest in spanking as a form of sexual play or in domestic discipline as a form of discipline would need to be explored within the scope of the story.

Though the interest in spanking may be one of the conflicts faced by the hero and heroine it must be resolved by the end of the book so that both hero and heroine are happy with the outcome.

Spanking and/or domestic discpline should be shown as a positive element in the lives of these particular characters or should be shown as something that is positive for some people but something that is not right for these particular characters. In any case this element of the relationship must be resolved to the satisfaction of both characters by the end of the book.

Ongoing Projects

Black Velvet Seductions welcomes submissions of spanking/domestic discipline stories that may fall outside the specific scopes outlined above. We wish to expand our offerings of domestic discipline and spanking stories and are willing to look at stories that are outside the specific parameters outlined above, however all material for us must have a very strong relationship focus and must have a strong emotional impact. We do not want stories that focus only on the physical aspects of spanking or being spanked. All stories must have a strong plot.

We welcome creative stories with a strong relationship focus.
